Almost Home is owned and operated by Terry Barrows, an experienced home inspector using his passion to help home buyers, sellers, and owners in the Brainerd Lakes area. Terry received his home inspector training at Kaplan Technical School and has been working in the industry now for over nine years. A career as an inspector has always appealed to him, so he walked away from his previous career to pursue this long-held passion. Throughout the several hundred inspections he’s completed since then, Terry’s love for this industry and its power to help people has only grown stronger. Like most residents of the Brainerd Lakes area, Terry loves being outdoors and doing things like hiking, boating, and walking his dogs. He is a dog lover and volunteers his time at the Heartland Animal Rescue Team (HART).
